Tell us how many nights you've got, which cities you want, and who's travelling. We'll plan a Delhi-to-Vietnam trip in your order, not one we've sold a hundred times before.

Delhi has more direct flights to Vietnam than any other Indian city, daily nonstops to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. That makes it easy to start north or south and fly home from the other end. Tell us how many nights and which cities you want, and we'll build the route around you.
These Delhi-to-Vietnam trips run from quick 3-night breaks to multi-city journeys across 12 nights. Pick what fits your schedule, and we'll tune it from there.

From Delhi (DEL), you can fly direct to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City or connect to any other Vietnamese city.
If your group's flying in from different cities, here's how vietnam looks from each major Indian airport. Pick the one that works for your travel plans.
Yes. Delhi has strong direct connectivity to Vietnam, with nonstop options to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on select airlines. Hanoi takes around 4 hours 15 minutes to 4 hours 30 minutes, while Ho Chi Minh City takes around 5 hours. Da Nang and Phu Quoc can be added with a short domestic connection within Vietnam. For longer trips, you can fly into Hanoi and return from Ho Chi Minh City, or the other way around, to avoid covering the same route twice.
The best time depends on the region you want to cover. Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and North Vietnam are most comfortable in spring and autumn, especially around March-April and September-November. Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta and Phu Quoc are better from November to April, when the south is usually drier. If you are travelling around Diwali or Christmas-New Year, it is better to book early because these are busy holiday periods from Delhi.
Yes, but Hanoi is the best choice for a short trip. With a nonstop flight of under five hours, a 3- or 4-night plan can cover Hanoi and a Ha Long Bay overnight cruise. It will be a tight itinerary, but it works if you want a quick international break without taking too much leave. For Da Nang, Phu Quoc or a multi-city Vietnam trip, plan more days because domestic travel inside Vietnam takes extra time.
For a short Vietnam trip from Delhi, 4 or 5 nights are enough for Hanoi with Ha Long Bay, or Ho Chi Minh City with a nearby beach or Mekong Delta experience. A 6- to 8-night trip can cover two regions comfortably, such as Hanoi with Da Nang and Hoi An. For a complete north-to-south Vietnam tour, keep at least 10 nights so the itinerary does not feel rushed.
Choose Hanoi if you want to focus on North Vietnam, including the Old Quarter, Ninh Binh, Sapa and Ha Long Bay. Choose Ho Chi Minh City if you prefer city life, the Mekong Delta and easier access to Phu Quoc. For a full Vietnam trip, the best option is to enter through one city and return from the other, so you save time and avoid backtracking.
Yes, Vietnam is generally a comfortable destination for first-time international travellers. Tourist areas are easy to navigate, English is commonly understood in hotels, airports and major attractions, and local transfers can be arranged in advance. Like any busy destination, you should be careful with bags, phones and wallets in crowded areas, especially in big cities. With a planned itinerary and local support, Vietnam is a good first international trip from Delhi.
