From Bangalore, you can fly direct to Honai and Ho Chi Minh City or connect to any other Vietnam city
Flying in from another city? Routes, fares and flight times change by airport. Pick your departure city to see Vietnam matched to where you're starting from.
Yes. Bangalore (BLR) has nonstop flights to Ho Chi Minh City that take around five hours, plus direct and one-stop options to Hanoi on VietJet, Vietnam Airlines and IndiGo. Da Nang is reached with a short onward connection within Vietnam. Because both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are reachable directly, you can fly into the south and return from the north without doubling back through a hub.
November to April is the best time for southern Vietnam and Phu Quoc, when the weather is dry and warm. Bangalore has direct flights to Ho Chi Minh City in the south, so this season suits most trips that start there. For the north, including Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, spring (February to April) and autumn are more comfortable. Flight fares from Bangalore rise over the December and Dussehra-Diwali holidays, so the shoulder weeks are usually cheaper and less crowded.
With a five-hour nonstop, even a long weekend in Da Nang or Phu Quoc works from Bangalore without burning much leave. Five to eight nights pairs the south with the centre comfortably, and ten or more covers the full country. The short hop is why a lot of Bangalore travellers go for shorter, more frequent trips rather than one long one.
Since Bangalore has a direct flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the south is the easiest place to begin. Start with Ho Chi Minh City for its history and street food, the Mekong Delta for a day on the river, and Phu Quoc for relaxed beach time. From there you can move up to the central coast for Da Nang's beaches and the old town of Hoi An, then continue north to Hanoi and a Ha Long Bay cruise. A south-to-north route, flying home from Hanoi, avoids covering the same ground twice and works well from Bangalore.
Both, and we plan them differently. The short southern flight is gentle on kids, so family trips lean on Phu Quoc's beaches, Da Nang theme parks and easy transfers. Couples tend to pair Phu Quoc with a Ha Long Bay cruise and quiet evenings in Hoi An. We match the hotels and pace to your group, and plan in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi or English.
