Air India flies nonstop between Delhi (DEL) and Bali (DPS) in around 8 hours, about 10 times a week.
If your group's flying in from different cities, here's how Bali looks from each major Indian airport. Pick the one that works for your travel plans.
Air India is flying the Delhi to Bali nonstop at the moment, and it takes about eight hours. Most other airlines get you there with one stop. Schedules change through the year, so we check what's operating on your dates before anything is booked. Flights sit outside your package price and are quoted separately.
Yes, with one thing worth knowing. December to February is Bali's wetter stretch, and how much rain you get varies year to year. Winter honeymoons work best with a good villa or resort as your base, spa time built in, and sightseeing days that can move around the weather. If your dates are flexible, the drier months are worth considering.
No, not for a holiday. Indian passport holders can apply for the electronic visa on arrival at evisa.imigrasi.go.id, which costs IDR 500,000 for a 30 day stay and can be extended once. Bali also charges a tourist levy of IDR 150,000. Neither fee is part of your package price, and rules do change, so check the official portal before you fly.
It's actually a decent window. May and June sit at the start of Bali's dry season, before the July and August rush when international crowds build. Conditions differ year to year, of course. If you're travelling in the school break, booking two to three months ahead gives you far better pick of hotels and flights.
Easily, and it's often the most economical way to do Bali well. When four to eight of you share a pool villa and a vehicle with a driver, the per person cost comes down noticeably. Most groups pair Canggu or Seminyak with a Nusa Penida day, and longer trips add the Gili islands. We sort the rooms, the itinerary and one combined quote.
Two to three months ahead works for most dates. For the big windows, the May and June school break, Dussehra through Diwali, and Christmas to New Year, aim for three to six months. Booking early means choosing your flights and hotels rather than taking what's left, and flight fares are quoted separately whenever you're ready.
